About Us

STEM Preparatory Academy is Nashville’s newest public charter and first dedicated STEM school offering a fully integrated STEM-based curriculum. STEM Prep is a free, public charter school serving fifth- through eighth-grade students who reside in South Nashville. Our mission is to provide a college preparatory education with an integrated focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM Prep aims to bolster the number of underrepresented students who successfully complete advanced-level secondary coursework and attain college degrees. We will prepare all students for success in high school and college, delivering individualized plans for every student.
