Technology companies: Company whose predominant business is the development and/or sale of technology products or services. Examples: manufacturing, hardware & electronics, energy, internet services, software, telecommunications, etc.?
Technology (IT) Department: Company that utilizes technology to meet business objectives and serve customers, but whose primary business is not technology or professional services. Examples: banking, music, consumer goods, healthcare, industrial goods, life sciences, retail, etc.? Vendor Membership: (Services to tech companies/IT departments) Company whose purpose is to assist in the advancement of the technology industry through necessary professional and/or commercial services. Such services include, but are not limited to, technology products and services, legal, financial, advisory services, staffing, publishing, news services, event producers, advertising, marketing, public relations, marketing, insurance and executive search firms.? Education / Non-profit Members: Educational and non-profit organizations engaged in the technology industry. Such organizations included, but are not limited to, universities, colleges, technical schools and other academic institutions.
