Job Description
Work under the guidance of Senior Programmers and Programming Management to assist in the upgrade process for our 200+ customers.  We have made great strides to convert legacy VB6 applications to VB.Net and C#.  With these upgrades comes the need to convert and test user custom code for each site.  This position does not require travel, but it does require weekend work from time to time.  We typically handle several upgrades per month which will require you to be on call during the upgrades over the weekend or during the night.  We always try to ensure you get breaks in between upgrades and provide additional time off as needed. 
Junior C# Developers will have multiple duties including, but not limited to:
Meet weekly to discuss upgrade projects and assignments
Review tasks as needed with Senior Developers/Management
Converting VB6 code to C# or VB.Net (Current focus is C#)
Use MS SQL as needed within code, stored procedures, function, etc. to store and retrieve data
Convert Legacy Crystal Reports to Embedded SSRS Reports
Follow company procedures for writing code, testing code, and logging time
The Junior C# Developer requirements are as follows:
Must have demonstrable programming experience in C# and/or VB.Net
Ability to learn to read VB.Net/VB6 code to facilitate conversion to C#
Familiarity with Git/TFS, or at least some variation of source control
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The ideal Junior C# Upgrade Developer will also have the following qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree in a related field (Computer Science, MIS, CIS, etc.)
      Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree
Fast Learner and Problem Solver by nature
Notes regarding the conversion process:
The conversion process will not be done using a converter, it will be done by refactoring code using .Net Standards
Conversion will use WinForms and WPF
Additional Functionality may be added during the conversion process
