The Opportunity…

TechnologyAdvice is looking for an experienced, full-time Product Manager to join our growing team! As a member of the Product Team, your responsibilities will include gathering requirements and prioritizing features, collaborating with business stakeholders, engineers, and sales leaders to define the product vision and drive company initiatives forward, and conducting competitive analysis and market research to identify new product opportunities.

The ideal candidate should possess a working knowledge of agile concepts and terminology, and should be well-versed in product management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives. They will exhibit leadership skills and have an enthusiastic, professional demeanor. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who is able to bridge the gap between sales, operations, and engineering to keep teams in alignment and deliver on-time results for company priorities.

As a Product Manager at TA, your mission will be to deliver products on time and in scope, owning all product planning and execution activities throughout the Product Life Cycle.

 

How You'll Contribute…

  • Build the Product Roadmap: Define the product vision and strategy to achieve short and long-term objectives and create visibility via a product roadmap.  
  • Collect User Insights & Feedback: Work with internal and external stakeholders to collect feedback and coordinate with the necessary teams to translate insights into actions.
  • Organize & Prioritize Work: Maintain and prioritize the product development backlog in JIRA including communication with both the development teams and business stakeholders to remain aligned throughout the development process.
  • Support Product Launches: Support the launch of new products including, but not limited to, conducting user acceptance testing and user training in collaboration with stakeholders, attending project meetings to coordinate non-technical dependencies, and ongoing communication. 
  • Product Tools and Processes: Leverage and maintain existing product tools, such as ProductBoard and JIRA, while constantly seeking to improve processes and tools to make the team more efficient.
  • Effectively communicate between both business and tech owners
  • Interacting with internal employees and partners to develop deeper understanding of problems and provide support when necessary
  • Extremely effective prioritization of features given an abundance of requests and limited engineering resources
  • Conduct additional quality control processes on features released to validate with business users; strike balance between quality control and getting work released
  • Fill in the gaps as needed, doing whatever it takes to help us achieve our goals

 

What You Bring… 

  • 3+ years experience in a product management or product strategy role
  • Deep knowledge level of B2B digital lead generation techniques, including content syndication, email marketing and ESPs, marketing automation (MAP) and omni-channel campaign orchestration, and call center operations
  • Intermediate level of knowledge of digital advertising techniques, platforms, and tools. This includes digital audience segmentation management tools.
  • Previous publisher experience or digital agency experience preferred
  • Previous experience with Media Quality and Data Quality measurement methods, processes, and techniques
  • Understanding and diagnosing root causes of problems
  • Superior project management, and interpersonal/collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching digital products
  • Familiarity with Agile concepts and best practices
  • High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability for actions
  • Ability to express observations clearly with supporting facts, assess alternative options, and encourage their acceptance
  • UX and Graphic design experience preferred
