VEX is the competition robotics platform in Middle Tennessee. This camp will teach students about the Vex Robotics system. Students will learn to use a computer aided drafting program, learn robot design, assemble their robot and program the bot in easy C or Robot C. Some coding experience such as an after school coding club, or a scratch camp is recommended. Without prior experience your student will need to be able to keep up with multiple new details, learn a completely new way of thinking, and conquer a broad vocabulary base. Any student who selects this camp will need the ability to sit patiently with problems and persist until they are solved.
Suggested Age Range: 7th - 12th grade
Experience Level: Beginner to Intermediate
