Scratch Camps
Great introduction to computer programming. Students will generate more than a dozen different programs in this drag and drop educational language. Students will also learn how to create their own blocks, debug faulty code and push their projects up to a shared space. A strong primmer for someone who is new to coding or just needs a refresher course.
Age Range: 7th - 12th grade
Experience Level: Beginner – no prior coding required
Student Tuition*: $200
Camp Requirements: All equipment and supplies for the camp will be provided by the Nashville Technology Council. Each student will need to bring his or her lunch to camp each day. This camp also requires each student have an email address. The email address allows students to save their work.
