Description
Ensuring Business Continuity in Time of Crisis - People, Process and Technology Make the Difference
Business continuity is about harnessing the power of People, Process and Technology. During times of global crisis, be they market-related, or more critically, health and human condition related, this harnessing requires partnering with a technology company built around a formal process to address circumstances such as we are facing today with COVID-19. This session will examine business continuity best practices for businesses of all sizes, including large enterprises and locally-owned operations, as it relates to data center process during times of extreme uncertainty and global crisis, including:
-Pre-planning for the unknown through Risk Mitigation
-Living document(s) to outline: who, what, and how, to handle a crisis
-Interdependencies within the IT environment - ensuring they are understood before a catastrophe happens
-Identifying Critical IT: tiering model (Tier 0: most critical - Tier 4: least critical)
-Geographically dispersed resources
Presented by:
Matt Donnelly, Account Executive, vXchnge
Tyler Smith, Client Business Executive, vXchnge
