Payton Baran, Manager of Business Development for Legal Confirmations at Confirmation.com
Payton leads business development of Confirmation.com’s legal confirmation service. He began his career as an auditor with Dixon Hughes Goodman in the Metro DC area. In 2012 Payton developed an online platform to facilitate required communication between auditors and lawyers in connection with financial statement audits. Two years later the startup was acquired by Confirmation.com. Payton now works with accounting firms, law firms, policymakers, and professional organizations to establish and expand the electronic legal confirmation process. Today Confirmation.com’s law firm network includes over 3,000 firms.
