Description
GO BEYOND INSIGHTS TO ACTIONABLE GOALS AND SOLUTIONS
Every NTC member company has plenty of data, but many leaders struggle to:
- Identify the real question and goal
- Define the insights needed to make decisions, and
- Take data and turn it into action solutions.
In this multi-week workshop, attendees will learn the skills to improve data decision-making and data storytelling within an organization. This new Data Mindset will take attendees beyond the night stage and past the story to create business value and actionable decisions. The NTC is offering this professional development workshops to existing member and future member companies to enhance their own internal professional development opportunities.
Objectives
It takes more than tools and techniques to make strategic data decisions, it takes a completely different data mindset. This program will fast-track participants in gaining the right skills and techniques to go beyond just insights. The workshop will cover the entire process from identifying the dilemma, to data discovery and insights through data storytelling that leads to actionable results. By the end of this course, participants will have a different mindset for tackling problems that are both replicable and reliable.
Materials and datasets for the workshop will be provided and on the last day, attendees will participate in a data hackathon.
