For the final Cyber Security Exec Peer Group of 2023, we're excited to host the discussion on "Ransomware Response and Recovery Planning" - presented by Anthony Basile, Chief Security Officer, and Andreas Sobotta., SVP & Chief Information Security Officer, with Alliance Bernstein.

In 2018, AB commenced ransomware (loss of technology) response & recovery planning in the aftermath of the 2017 global cyber attack (NotPetya) primarily targeting Ukraine.

AB expanded its response & recovery planning as the ransomware threat increased exponentially in the aftermath of the Dec 2020 Solar Winds Orion supply chain compromise and the discovery of a backdoor in trusted software used by 18,000 customers.

AB would like to share its response and recovery strategy and hear how other members of the NTC Cyber Security Exec Peer Group are approaching this material threat.

 

About the NTC Cyber Security Exec Peer Group

This is an exclusive peer group for security executives at the highest level in their organization. The primary purpose of the group will be to allow like-minded cyber security executives to discuss important and relevant topics in the industry. Meetings will be closed door sessions under "Chatham House Rule," for networking among members and led discussions on relevant topics which are collected by NTC cyber security peers. 

This regular meeting is your place for an open discussion among peers. Peers provide a support structure and and the opportunity to be vulnerable in these closed door sessions.

Once the closed-door meeting is complete, executives are expected to attend a happy hour, dinner or other activity to meet and mingle with the sponsor of the peer group. During the happy hour or dinner, there will be no sales pitches or other kinds of sales methods employed.
