Tennessee Legislators, Join us for lunch on Thursday Feb. 27 at 11am in 8C Cordell Hull Building and Learn to Code

The Greater Nashville Technology Council welcomes Members of the Tennessee General Assembly to our Tech Day on the Hill and Legislative Reception on February 25! This year, we're adding a a very special lunch on February 27 to provide legislators a chance to learn to code with students from Middle Tennessee schools!

So much of the Greater Nashville Technology Council's work is around building our tech workforce. Building on the Knoxville Tech Council's Politicode program, we wanted to help policy makers understand what tech skills are needed for the future, and who better to explain than students who are learning those skills today!

Join us for lunch on Thursday Feb. 27 at 11am in 8C Cordell Hull Building and Learn to Code. Presenting interactive tech projects will be students from Middle Tennessee public schools, and a chance for you to sample the skills needed for tech jobs. This experience will give you a better understanding of importance of good public policy to support local students - the future of our tech workforce!

The Greater Nashville Technology Council is thankful for the support of this program, presented by the Nashville Software School, Tokenize Tennessee, and Vanderbilt University.
