Description
Just 6% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women and fewer than 17% are executives. You’re never too young to start your own business and change this ratio!
Join us June 23 when mother-daughter entrepreneur team Kerry Schrader and Ashlee Ammons of the app Mixtroz will guide girls and caregivers through the process of brainstorming, ideation and pitching an idea to a crowd. As we walk through how an idea comes to fruition, girls will learn to unleash their creativity and develop their entrepreneurial passion as they forge their own path. Entrepreneurs solve the challenges of day-to-day life, whether they’re big or small.
So we encourage girls to come this event with a problem from your daily life that you want to solve. We’ll take the challenges everyone brings and work together to figure out how to create products or services to solve them, with guidance from Kerry and Ashlee. Then we’ll break up into small teams to build out the solutions further. Each group will develop a 3-minute pitch to give to future investors, and we’ll close the event by pitching our ideas live!
