On August 26th at 12 PM CST industry leaders Ashlee Davis with AllianceBernstein and Robert Wilson, Cultural Shift Team, will be discussing diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the workplace. Moderated by Vaco's Chief People Officer Tracey Power, we will be taking a deep dive into assessing where you are on the D&I journey, how to engage with diverse communities effectively, and initiating a roadmap to master inclusion within the workplace.

Ashlee Davis serves as the Vice President and Senior Diversity & Inclusion Manager at AllianceBernstein (AB), a global investment management firm in 22 countries. In this role she is responsible for expanding and leading AB’s diversity and inclusion strategy in San Antonio and AB’s global headquarters of Nashville, the assessment and cultivation of key community partnerships, and partnering with AB’s senior executives to implement effective and measurable D&I action plans. Her most recent former role was Global Lead for External Affairs and Strategic Partnerships within the Global Inclusion & Diversity team at Cargill, Inc. Prior to Cargill, Ms. Davis served for more than 6 years in the Obama Administration both within the White House and as a Presidential Political Appointee at the U.S. Department of Agriculture where her roles included White House Liaison and Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights. During the academic year 2018-19, Ms. Davis was Corporate Partner at the University of St. Thomas-Minnesota and co-taught the MBA elective Inclusive Leadership in Diverse Organizations with Professor Teresa Rothausen. Her other civic engagement includes serving as board member of Nashville, Tennessee’s Community Oversight Board, the University of Pittsburgh’s Alumni Association, Colorado State University’s Corporate Diversity Advisory Council. Ms. Davis holds a B.A. in Politics & Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and Juris Doctorate from the Howard University School of Law.
Robert Wilson

Culture Shift Team founding partner, Robert Lawrence Wilson, leads CST’s Diversity, Inclusion and Equity division. With more than 15 years of experience in diversity management, multicultural marketing, customer experience strategy, and leadership development, Robert develops comprehensive strategy and training for corporations, non-profit organizations, higher education, and government agencies. In addition to overall inclusion strategy, Robert also provides racial equity strategy and deployment expertise. Robert served in executive roles at Nissan North America, including Nissan's director of Customer Experience and Nissan’s first director of Diversity and Inclusion where he developed and led Nissan's diversity practice, spanning Nissan's operations in North and South America, as well as a multicultural marketing strategy. He serves on the leadership boards of three non-profit organizations promoting greater access to quality education for our nation's most at-risk student populations. Robert is the co-founder and executive director of the Tennessee Diversity Consortium. Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University.

Bradford & Co, and Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Comdata Corporation/Stored Value Solutions. She’s been a proud Vacotian since 2015 and is currently an adjunct faculty member of Lipscomb University College of Business teaching Human Resource Strategy. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an M.Ed. from Vanderbilt University, as well as a certificate in Life-Juggling earned while simultaneously getting her master’s degree, working full time and raising a family. She is a certified Rule 31 Mediator, Global (GPHR) and Senior Human Resource Professional (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute and Senior Certified Professional (SCP) with the Society of Human Resource Management. When she receives her executive coaching certification next year, we’ll have to build another wall in her office to accommodate the framed-certificate overflow.
