Advanced Java Camps
Gain more practical experience by designing and writing Java applications in this advanced course. Students will learn how to develop Windows-based and GUI-based Java applications. Both AWT and Swing packages will be introduced and used in developing web applications and standalone applications. Students will end the week with a fully functioning application and the following skills:
- Create windows-based and GUI-based Java applications
- Utilize both AWT and Swing
- Incorporate graphics, menus, buttons, and drawing tools
- Develop Java applets and standalone applications
Experience Level: Advanced. Prerequisite is Programming & Logic I high school course or experience using Java for more than 1 year.
