2016 NTC Annual Meeting
The NTC Annual Meeting unites the leaders of Nashville and Middle Tennessee's tech community. It's an opportunity to promote our region's progress, celebrate those making an impact, forecast trends, and discuss how to transform predictions into future opportunities for growth in our area.
The NTC is excited to welcome Governor Bill Haslam and Randy Boyd, Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, the 2016's Annual Meeting Keynote Speaker. Along with the guests from The Brookings Institution and local industry leaders, we will discuss the future opportunities for healthcare IT (HIT) in Nashville.

This year, our focus will be on one of Nashville's major industries: Healthcare. Members of the Brookings Institution's Metropolitan Policy Program will present: From Health Care Capital to Innovation Hub: Positioning Nashville as a Leader in Health IT their study more than a year in the making. The Brookings Institution study focuses on healthcare IT (HIT) and presents the strengths and opportunities Nashville has to be the leader nationally. Critical input on the study came from leaders and insiders in the industry, in coordination with the Nashville Technology Council, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Nashville Healthcare Council.
The Brookings Institution will present From Health Care Capital to Innovation Hub: Positioning Nashville as a Leader in Health IT, the findings and recommendations with discussion to follow.
This year, the Nashville Technology Council is partnering with Jumpstart Foundry to provide a NTC Members with a special opportunity to attend both the Health:Further Conference and the NTC Annual Meeting.
